if it's a vr6 - clutch master or slave cylinder is bad

if it's a 2.0 - i'd assume your clutch cable is bad

its the clutch cable where it connects down towards the bottom its a small rubber peice with a small like soda can top looking thing,it probably popped out of place,it happens from just regular wear and tear not a big deal easy fix

pull your clutch cable, it should come loose if it is what im thinking

i replaced the cable its not that there is a spring that behind the clutch pedal that is supposed to depress when the cltch pedal is down and its popping out of place and not allowing the pedal to return back up

your clutch fairy is worn out your gonna need to get a replacement unit from wonderland or spinkle some magic dust in your gas tank. if all else fails try a blinker fluid flush.
