EXAMPLE OF ANOTHER VW OWNER THAT ALWAYS THINKS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT

I sold a rear bumper support off my old red 1991 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 16v to someone on Tampa Racing (no names).
First of all I sold the part for dirt cheap because Ive had the part laying around for 2 years now.
The whole purpose of this person buying the part from me is because like evryone else he has a small bumper Golf/GTI and wants to put 90-92 spec big bumpers on it.

NOW here is the the problem. He is trying to tell me that Jetta Rear bumper support wont work for a Golf/GTI. And that I dint give him the plastic clip support that holds the bumper and support together.

HHHHMMMMMM..... Lets see here. Let me just upload my Volkswagen/Audi ETKA OEM Parts CD that the dealer uses........

Thats funny...Its says:

90-92 VW Golf/GTI-Rear Bumper Support-OEM Part# 165-807-311
OK NOW.....
90-92 VW Jetta/GLI-Rear Bumper Support-OEM Part# 165-807-311

Well.. What do you guys think. Seems like the same part number to me.

AS for the plastic bumper clip on peice you reffered to that I forgot to sell you. That comes on the bumper. What happened is that you bought a cheap bumper cover and not an OEM bumper cover. I know it has happened to me. Plus If I recall you bought a rear bumper support only.

I rest my case. If you want your money back thats fine. But dont accuse me of being a liar or trying to rip you off. I was only trying to help you out. Next time go to the dealer and pay full price for it or pull it at a Junk yard (Good Luck finding one)

well it kinda makes sense if your having a problem with something that you have bought from someone or someplace that you ask for installation help or get some tips . Well thats at least how I see it
