Porsche 924 turbo(931) swap help.
Looking to put a Vr6 in a 1980 porsche 924.
I've decided I will finish it, regardless of what is necessary.
-Front engine, rear transaxle, torque tube.
Engine is quite worn out, and i'm not too enthusiastic about rebuilding the stock engine.
What would be necessary to put a Vr6 in a 931?
What would I need to do for the following :
Bellhousing
Clutch
Torque tube
---
Any help would be great. I figure if anyone has advice i'll hear it through before I start tearing things apart.

That's what I figured. Although that doesn't sound too bad.

I'll be posting weekly (if not more frequent) pictures. Monday the engine comes out, I take measurements, remove bellhousing and compare to a VR.
From there it's just prep work - Brakes, suspension, etc...
I'll do it.
I hope to be done by February.
Reasonable?

Any particular reason you want to go with a VR6? Renegade Hybrids does have a kit to transplant an LS1 and it looks completely stock. You'd probably spend more than the cost of their kit to go custom with the VR. Well, maybe not, but it will definitely save you lots of time and frustration.

Renegade has done it countless times. A VR 931 has never been documented.
Precisely why I am interested in doing it.

lmk i got most of the swap for ya if you are intersted lmk, i got the whole engine harness dash and all that good stuff, and apr or c2 can wipe out the immobilizer so you can use the mk4 harness, so if youever want to turbo it you can get 630's for it lol
