Ahh, for some reason I thought you were sayin all that was due to the break in.
Well, if you can do the work yourself, its probably well well under a grand. Are the Mark IVs cable shift on the 8V, or they still rod shifted 020 boxes? Or do you have an automatic? If you got an automatic thats 2K right there :)

Yeah, it's an auto. But my cousin works at the VW/Dodge dealership up in Sarasota, Bradenton, or whatever. So I get stuff a bit cheaper.

About the nitrogen I was bored as f*ck and heard Olin Mott was fillin tires for free with nitrogen. So I said Hey! why not do somethin thats gives me 1% better gas mileage and 1% better traction:)

About the nitrogen its supposed to Help your tires stay a lil cooler so in turn gives a teeeeeny bit better traction and a teeeeny bit better gas mileage and tire life. Bottom line i was bored as hell and saw Olin Mott was fillin em for free. When you have no job you'd use any excuse to get outa the house too

I try to, just pushed 176k, no leaks or smoke. Just suspension noise, bout that time to do an overhaul on it. Just waitin though. Just bought another bike, & baby on the way, so being patient. Always wishin it was faster (even though I have minor goodies on it). But can't complain, I used to push it hard out on the streets, & nothin has broken yet :knock on wood: :D
