Very Frustrating *movie*
I don't know what the point of me going through this whole thing was.

Maybe I can play around with the ignition a lil' bit. But right now this sucks.

I was expecting a bit more, though.
The fuel in my tank is about a lil' over a month old, and I have some shitty plugs in there(until I could get everything worked out). But I don't think that would amount to 20-25whp less than I was epecting.

All you have is a chip and exhaust and you are expecting 40hp more than stock?
Stock those things are MAYBE 125-130 at the crank, brand new with 0 miles. Its now 16 years old.
If all you really have is the chip and the exhaust, thats pretty close to being right.
If you had 160-180 at the wheels in your A2, take it from me, you will be able to boil the tires 1st, 2nd, and half way through 3rd....

Correction- I have "factory spec". When I had just a chip and fried injector o-rings I dynoed 115. Since then I did:
TT 4-1 header (eliminates cat)
TT cat back (2.25")
Euro intake cam
Euro 50mm intake manifold
1.8L head (better intake flow, with a marginally decreased exhaust flow[supposedly good for 10 hp])
So yes, I was expecting quite a bit more

Well, I can see how you woulda been expecting more, but I dont know if I would have expected to see 160 at the tires. Thats ALOT of power improvement, and just because one dyno chart showed an exhaust made 10hp, another showed the head making 10hp, another showed the cams making 10hp, etc, doesnt mean you can just add up all 3 and get 30hp.
You going to stay with the factory injection? CIS isnt great, but its not all that bad, but the CIS-E is rather.....finicky...

I was expecting to see 140-145whp, as that has been done with these mods. I'll play around with it a lil' bit and see what else can be done with this setup.

Well, good luck with it. Typically the guys who brag about makin big power with a few bolt ons have more done than they are letting on. I mean little detail things, or doing things like removing accessory belts for dyno testing.
Also, you are currently somewhere between a US spec setup and a euro. The euro setups were only rated at 139hp at the crank. Granted you have a slightly larger engine and header, but you have a lousy injection system compared to the european version.
I know when I had a 16v in my Golf, the car ran ALOT harder once I yanked the CIS-E injection and installed a K jetronic system with lambda.
Im not saying you wont find a few more HP in doing details, but I doubt you are going to find 20hp without replacing something or doing some serious chip tuning.
