Default Boost Question

I have a friend that has a gti. he was wondering how much boost he could SAFELY run on the motor. all he has done is a deverter valve, wastegate, and full exhaust.
Thanks in advanced

The motor can take a lot more than the turbo. k03s limits arent much more than 1bar. If you go past that you'll see a much shorter life span.

without adding fuel and timing, you can use a mbc or ebc and set it to about 12-14 psi. its best to get a chip because it will safely increase boost to around 18-20psi and add timing and fuel to compinsate.
