Slick's Garage Palmetto Florida First Fridays on Fifth, Thanks for the memories.....
 

For several months, starting around 2010 maybe, car guys collected at Slick's Garage in Palmetto FL on First Fridays. Fifth Street was blocked off for a car show, live music, dancing, entertainment, and a good time. Lots of money was raised for charities and civic organizations. It was the place to be.

Slick became more famous, actually built the cars shown on TV, was invited to SEMA to show his cars, was a star of a couple series TV shows, Tail Fins and Chrome, the last show being "Highway to sell". I attended all the premier showings with a restaurant full of people. It was a great time.

Slick now has a shop in Miami and only works on cars that he wants to do.
