As a fan of both westerns and samurai movies, I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It was fun, action packed, and most importantly, it had heart. A very good movie that perfectly captures everything I love from both genres of movies. I only wish I had discovered this forgotten gem a lot sooner. Thank you very much for posting it. |

Daniel Bradford 29:58 I was a kid in Kansas when I saw this movie. After my hero Charlie Bronson had some Japanese food, I begged my parents to take me to a Japanese restaurant. We went all the way to Denver, CO for it. Nom nom! |

SeikiBrian I had to laugh at the scene where Link (Bronson) is explaining what a horse is to Kuroda (Mifune, who was an expert horseman in real life). Apparently Link didn't know that there were horses in Japan before there were in America. In fact, the old name for Bushido (the Way of the warrior) was Kyuba-no-michi (the Way of the bow and the horse). |

kyokogodai A wonderful film. All the main parts are wonderfully acted. Delon was so psychotic! Bronson and Mifune were at their best. Andress so beautiful. Great plot and good direction. A film so many should see, over all the mush being tossed in the world's face. |
