Smokey is a highway patrolman who does his best to cruise and patrol the pacific area of Los Angeles. He and his pal, Ed, are offered a job to do some repossessing vehicles to gain a little extra money. What they don't know is the cars they're repossessing are actually stolen.

A "real movie", is about entertainment. I don't discredit them in saying the movie isn't good. If you lie to a person, telling them something is great when it is not, they are less apt to improve, and do something that actually is good. I give them credit for the try, but in all honesty, that is all it is, a try. In stating the movie is not good, is not stating one can do better, your argument there is just a week ploy, to give strength to your belief this is good, and has no bearing on the entertaining value if the movie. or a persons ability to critic

quite a few actors from 1974 gone in 60 seconds had parts in this movie, george cole (atlee), butch stockton(1 baker 11 driver), edward abrahms (harold smith). i wonder if halicki had anything to do with this movie

I love that people think this is the worst movie ever. You think you're the next Scorcese? Go out and make something better, then let me know. Until then, have an open mind and remember that this was just a bunch of guys that figured "Hey, let's make a Movie." AND THEN THEY DID. That's a hell of a lot more than some of these armchair critics can do. Jack Vacek, George Cole, et al, had the STONES and the PAPER to pull this off. Sure, it's not exactly Academy Award stuff, but it's good clean fun and above all it's honest. No CGI, no stuntmen, no Bullshit. THIS is what a real movie is all about, lest we forget!
