My Triumph Thunderbird was black. Never jumped it :>)

Steve and Barbara, with their small entourage, stopped in dad's Royal Oaks museum antique barn (an old hanger) during a trip around the country. He and dad talked antiques for an extended time. For many years after, dad still treasured his signed pictures with Steve.

I'm from France, I was moved by these pictures, of a man who maybe tryes to live his last years being himself, far from the image built from his movies characters. Thanks Sadie for having put this online and allowing me to discover this private part of his life (I have no chance to come upon the book in France).
