Why is it that the domestic market never had something like this? absolutely no weight, compact and lethal. It seems to handle the power well.

because it would flip over..could you picture if he floored it,you can see that front just hopping like a bunny,just not worth putting a v8 in there

The wheelbase is too short for it to do that. Some good tires and some suspension work should keep it straight. I would not want to see 400+ horsepower though. That car would be a handful.
