That is crazy... I know its techinally "natural" but it seems sooooo un-natural to me! There has to be some drawback to this... I would imagine there are health risks for these cows, kind of like what happens with pure-bred dogs.

I don't think that meat from one of these cows is gonna taste as good as a regular cow treated without hormones and living on a flat surface! The secret to soft and flavorfull meat is less muscle and more fat. It's not healthy but sure does taste good!
These are beautiful animals tho, super strong! They look like dinosaurs if you ask me. And I bet the meat from one of them is hard and lean, full of protein but too hard to my taste!

the Belgian bull has no staroids....you have to think of it in terms of a pro body builder, there is a process that the body goes threw when you work out(i forgot the scientific name)but body builder try to supress or slow down this process so the muscles will take in more proteins which is muscle food so they can grow.
