I wanted to buy one of those but they were already rare and pretty much all beat up and crappy by the time I heard about them- it was probably 5 years ago. I doubt there are more than a handful on the road today. I vaguely recall that somebody had a really fast one out at the street races in the late 90's but that was before my time.

Yup, it uses the same 2.5L I4 turbocharged motor that was in the Dodge Daytona. I believe it was used in a few other cars too. These were decent motors and could handle alot of boost without any internal modification. It's not uncommon to run 20+ psi of boost on stock everything. For the time, this was probably the best turbo I4 available in the states.
