Default REAR Mount integra vs all motor ls vtec crx

The infamous rear mount turbo vs. a fully built ls-vtec crx(11:5:1 compression, rods, edelbrock cams, skunk valve train, p&p head etc.) the second race is between the crx and a type r turbo with a t3/t4 .57 trim on 10psi. Couldn't get in a good race between the rear mount and the crx so it's not over yet.

p.s. the type made 270hp two weeks ago

Thats cool and all ..But whats the reason for mounting the turbo in the rear??..Just curious cause that seems like a lot of work..When you can just put it up front like a normal car

it's not ANY better than mounting it up normally, the only thing thats a + is that the air would be cooler cause of the longer pipes. But If someone was feeling jumpy they would just smash the rear glass, and steal the turbo.

Actually, its to keep the engine cooler and the turbo cooler...The exhaust is right there...and many other reasons....Its actually pretty smart, and they have a couple of 10 and 11 second cars if I remember correctly...

When I read rear mounted I thought it was an STS kit. But that setup that the teg has is just plain fucked up.

LOL, thats what I was thinking.

"I'm cool because I can drive and look back at my turbo"

Rear mounted turbos are just plain, blahhh. Engines that have strong exhaust pulses would not benefit as much with a kit like that compare to the convention turbo-to-manifold.

I like how the pipe runs through the car.
