REAR Mount integra vs all motor ls vtec crx
The infamous rear mount turbo vs. a fully built ls-vtec crx(11:5:1 compression, rods, edelbrock cams, skunk valve train, p&p head etc.) the second race is between the crx and a type r turbo with a t3/t4 .57 trim on 10psi. Couldn't get in a good race between the rear mount and the crx so it's not over yet.

Actually, its to keep the engine cooler and the turbo cooler...The exhaust is right there...and many other reasons....Its actually pretty smart, and they have a couple of 10 and 11 second cars if I remember correctly...

Rear mounted turbos are just plain, blahhh. Engines that have strong exhaust pulses would not benefit as much with a kit like that compare to the convention turbo-to-manifold.
