in the back of my hood there is a sand pit that i drive by a few times a week so today i'm driving and tell my self "fuck it" and pull in and drop my front tires in and it feels SOFT as hell so i creep on in and you guess it, its super soft and in no time stuck! i throw in rev. and back into 1st and its looking bad for me... i hop out and my feet sink atleast 6inches into the sand (fun fun) i lock the hubs then lock her into 4wh and sink the front real nicely now i'm pissed (supper swampers don't fail me now) kick it into 4wl and crawl out like a champ!

made a few more passes through and went on my way... god i <3 4x4 yotas...

 

Thats the thing about a tire like the Super Swampers, those big lugs are amazing in the mud, but when it comes to sand they barley get you out. All they do in sand is bury you. I had the same problem with my 4x4 4-Runner on 33 inch Dunlop Mud Rovers while on the fire trails in Ocala (around the naval bombing range), those trails are damn near nothing but sand.

 

Yeah, I'm real glad you found a place to go off-roading without me especially since I was waiting on you to show up while you were out off-roading without me
