Dont fool yourself. SASing a truck isnt cheap. Expect to be well over $5-7k deep, probably more to be DD reliable. Much more if you dont do it all yourself. many have tried to do it cheap and have failed miserably and then its double the cost to fix it.

I have 9" of suspension lift on my truck (and a 3" body) and Ive ran the shit out of it at Rancho many times. I also drive it 35k+ miles per year. I have almost 100k on the lift and you know what Ive replaced.. 1 ball joint and all the tierod ends (only because they were still stock at 180k miles)... BUT I did change the pitman, idler, and all 4 ball joints when I did the lift. Ive never had a single problem from my IFS lift. Its actually a lot stronger than most give it credit for.

FTS (Full Thtrottle) makes kits up to 15" but their kit is ugly as sin IMO.

Swing on over to GMFullsize . You'll learn a ton.

Nope. I only had to cut one thing. You have to cut off the stock lower control arm pocket due to the kit actually dropping the diff the whole 7" down. Most kits only drop the diff a few inches and you have to crank the T-bars like crazy to get the full lift which in turn gives you some nasty CV axle angles. The Cognito kits drop the diff the full amount so at the lowest setting (7" or 10") the CVs are flat and then you can crank the extra 2" if you want and still have great angles. Also most kits require you cut the top mounting ear off the front diff. Cognito does not. Its truely a bolt on kit... well, had to drill a few holes. If youre somewhat local, you can check it out sometime.

One my female friends went to buy that truck and we knows the owner of Andrews Altitudes son (previous owner) and he tried to tell us it never seen mud. Then we logged onto his profile and he has tons of pics of it sunk lol. There was something wrong with the front end and the axles last i herd, you get that taken care of?
