I would have literally shit myself if that was my green chevy. Damn close to a roll over.
I wish I had the cash or know how to build something like that. I can build a 9 second car, but be damned if I can build a linked suspension with giant axles and shit.

yeah me too !!! that is a friend of mine & he did about shit him self...we ended up tying a strap around the frame & a truck put some tension on the strap & i pulled him from the back !

What'd you circle that for? It's a spring perch, much different on a 2.5 ton axle than any other axle, a 2.5 ton axle housing is square, the perch has ears on each side that go around the axle to make it safe.
Now that on a circular axle housing = big no no.
