Front End Shaking, Question...
Ok, I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500...I replaced the brakes on the Passenger side, but not the Drivers side(they weren't as bad as the Pass. side)...It just started to shake when taking off and coming to a stop...I'm gonna be putting the Drivers side brakes on Tomorrow but my Question is
Are the Rotors causing the shaking?...I'm pretty sure it is but wanted to be Positive before I just put the new brakes on and not get the Rotors Resurfaced...Or is it because the Pass. Side had Alot more brake then the Drivers side?...
Any Ideas?...

first thing i would do is get the other side done also. never only do one side and not the other. when you jack it up see if there is any play in the tire. grab it on opposite sides and shake it if there is excessive play you may want to replace the hub bearings. and also after jacking up the front end make sure you drive in reverse for about 20 feet.
