Default dodge ram help fast!!!

i just got a 2002 dodge ram 1500 and the only problem with the whole car is the passanger side door wont open from the outside but i opens from the inside if anyone knows what the problem is (looks like the latch the connects door to the door jam) or where i can get it fix lmk i know the dealership will do it but for bookoo bucks any help is great and thanks

also it looks like someone tried to pry off the door handle and use a flat head in the key whole to break in but really doesn't look that bad from the outside

sounds like one of the plastic clips for the rods is broke or something. Kinda hard to say or explain. but if you take the door panel off and stuff, and look at it, there should be two rods or so that run to the latch in the door. I bet the rod is not attached anymore. Either the plastic clip is broke or the arm on the outside door handle is broke.
