well. kinda stated my lack of price knowledge for the truck already.

 

I just did a quick search online at a few junk yards and the cheapest one I could find was $1100. But the average price as $2000. I did not realize they were that much.. wow.

 

Unless you crushed the bed totally I don't see why he would need a new one. A good bodyshop can pull it out easily.

 

just buy that dudes bumper and take the bed to a body shop

 

The outer shell is actually a fiberglass composite, and if it is in an accident usually get manhandled. Yes, it can be fixed, but the man hours to fix it versus buying a new one probably does not warrant it.

 

thanks josh. i ended up working a deal out with marlons dad today. $1530 for the whole thing. not too bad. but lets ee how much the tickets add up to.

 

By chance did he get a ticket for driving like an ass or did that not get mentioned to the cops? I would so fight it and bring his little ricer fly bye story with me.

oh, sorry. no, i cant really prove anything that will get him a ticket. exept for maybe the fact that i was goin about 75-85 mph and somehow he passed me going double the speed i was. i might be able to prove that.
