brake upgrades?
I have an s10 and I was wondering what I can do to shorten my stopping distance. And just give me better everyday braking...My last few cars have had disc brakes all the way around and im not use to them just up front...I have done a little research on pads and rotors...will bigger and or drill/slotted make a difference?

No, they only make a difference on a track when you're braking a lot in rapid succession.
Pick up some Performance Friction brake pads from AutoZone (free replacement for life) and flush/bleed your brake fluid so that it's fresh, and it'll make a big difference.

I'd tend to agree, a good working systems is better then upgrades, most people keep old fluid in there and other nasty stuff. Also, make sure that things like the master cyl is ok and that there is the proper vacuum pressure to the brake booster.
