dodge dakota
i think they are pretty nice myself, and im planning to get a 99, but the beds are very small, especcially on the crew and club cabs, so perhaps you should take some measurements before you go and buy anything.
3.9 v6 isnt a powerhouse, but sucks gas like a big block. rides nice, but a tiny bed, even on the reg cabs. if you arent dead set on a dakota, check into a long bed ranger.

my girl's reg-cab dakota had a 6' (or so) bed. it wouldnt close the tailgate with a queen sized matress in the bed. i dont think ive ever seen a dakota with a longer bed either. you can get a Ranger with a 7' bed.

I have a 2000 Dakota R/T Club Cab and the bed is perfect for a Yamaha Warrior 4 wheeler. Not sure about a full size bike though. The gas mileage is horrible. It gets 10-12 mpg no matter how it's driven.
I bought it new and haven't had many problems mechanically but the fuel consumption leaves alot to be desired. Hope this helps....
