Default Tire debate for my new truck

Which would you go for?

BF Goodrich All Terrain's. Great tire but wasn't happy with the ride when it was wet outside.

285 - 70 - 17

I want taller but that would require a lil lift up front.

street tires LTX A/S would work good. Nothing pisses me off more then posers with off road tires on 2wd trucks that never even see grass let alone mud. Why waste your money on tries that you'll never use? You said you skiped 4wd b/c you never use it, why go though tires fast, spend more on them, and well be a poser with off road tires on a 2wd.

Correct I passed up 4wd due to I saw no need for it but that does not mean it doesn't see dirt or mud. I pull a boat and will be hitting the woods to go hunting. And as far street tires show me some that are in a 70 series that aren't even close to the same price.
