Default Lift

Here's the deal... I have $500. I think I've beat down my parents enough to let me get a lift. If I get a body lift, I'd still pay for labor, my friends and I can do a suspension lift. I only want like 3 inches. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

body lift will give you more tire clearance but not ground clearance, suspension lift will give you both...

body lift wont affect suspension ride (just maybe a little more roll since its getting a shade taller)

is suspension ride like how much it bounces over bumps? i don't think i'd need much more ground clearance, but when i turn too tightly the tires rub on something and i don't think that's a good thing. that's one of my weapons i use to talk my dad into it

do lifts ruin the ride at all? i would probably have to get a steering stabilizer too then right?

Body lifts are fine. Easy to install too. Cheaper as well.

well.....i don't have a hydraulic lift in my backyard....don't you need one of those? i know a guy that will do it, but i dont know how much i'd need to pay him. it would be cheaper than going somewhere to get it done, and he has a lift in his backyard lol.

well i have 33" A/T tires on it already. I dont wanna get a huge lift because then it would look goofy without bigger tires and i just got them. I figure that 3 inches would do the trick. i'll get some pics later...i gotta go to work
