:: Weather Info. About This Weekends Track Event ! ::
O.k. right now the weather looks like it might be rough in the morning due to a hurricane that came across Mexico but since this is a late afternoon event we should be o.k. according to the report below. 
But in the event if it is still raining out or very overcast do not assume the event is a no go. This has happened many times before and we always manged to pull it off.
If we run the event, you have already paid to race, and do not show, you do not get a credit towards the next event or a refund.
If it does rain out I already have a make-up date and will announce it a.s.a.p..
The current list will carry over to the make up date if needed. If you can not make that date I would appreciate it if you tried to sell your spot to save me the hassle and you the costs of Paypal coming back to you.
The best thing you can do is check in this forum (TRack Events) for the most recent update on Saturday and you can try the track (941-748-1320).
Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best, just don't fag out, assume it is raining at the track, and not come if it is a little cloudy out.

Desoto has been known in the past as a track that floods easily but I remember about 6-7 years ago when they did fun ford, I went by there on wed and the track was under about 7 inches of water and thursday night they had it dry enough to qualify.(sand bags on sides of track though and spectators were hating it. so dont ever count the track prep crew out, they have the jet if they need it.

It has no problems anymore since they resurfaced the trac klast year and put in better drainage.
