Weekend and Special Events

Saturday Art Nights:

Enjoy a relaxing evening out while your kids have fun with us as they make friends and art at Yellow Bird Studio. We will open up our art stations and enjoy and explore a variety of media as we make art and friends!

age: 5 to 12​

Price: $35 per child; $25 per additional child

​Dates: August 27; September 24; October 22; November 19; December 17; January 25; February 25; April 22; May 20

​Time: 6-8:30PM (Please have your child eat dinner prior to attending. They may bring a snack and drink to class)

​Caregiver required?
No, this is a drop-off class. Children need to be fully potty trained and able to care for their needs independently.

​Pre-registration: Yes. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by 12 PM the day prior to the event.

​Sunday Crafternoons:

Handmade is better! Saturday Crafternoons are an opportunity to get together with friends, meet new people, and have a good time making some cool art. Sewing, weaving, painting and crafting will be supported by a variety of seasonal themes satisfying the most passionate young artists. Perfect for older elementary through middle school kids who like a bit more challenge or for kids who can't come to our weekly classes and want to get in on some Yellow Bird magic!

​Age: Recommended for ages 8 and up.

​Price: $30 per child; $20 per sibling.

​Dates: September 4; October 2; November 6; December 4; January 8; February 5; March 5; April 2; May 7

​Time: 1:00-3:00​

1. Take it as a compliment...the Yellow Bird North building at 16921 Gunn Hwy 33556 looks SO much better with the bushes trimmed back. Great idea.

2. At the 3rd Saturday Keystone car show we gave away a lot of Ornaments
to participants and spectators alike.

I still have some ornaments that were not given a home.
I have lots of small ones for maybe a small kid-size tree and a few baseball
size ornaments and maybe a few antique-looking ones for normal size trees.

If you ladies would like to look them over to see which ones you can use,
I can deliver them to the Westshore Yellow Bird Studio 33447 S. Westshore 33629

Hi Bob! Thanks for the compliment on the building. We plan on doing more trimming and cleaning out on the other side too to make it look less abandoned! Sorry we couldn't be there for the last Keystone Motor Club car show, we had an event at our other studio and couldn't be in both places at the same time. Yes, if you have some extras of ornaments, we'd love to have them.

We are having an event on December 17th called The Little elf workshop. It is a paid event, if you know anybody who is interested who has kids who may be going to the car show, they can sign up on our website and spend a couple of hours making art and handmade ornaments.

We have another event from 1:30 to 4:30 that's called a nutcracker making workshop for kids second through 5th grade. If you need any more details just let me know! I know the parking lot will be full that day with both of our events going on, but I think the more the merrier!

Say HELLO to Louie everyone! He is our new friend at our YBS North location in Odessa! The children absolutely loved his playful personality and cheerful song so much that they made sweet little pictures for him during our Open House events this weekend! Thank you to everyone that came out to meet us and check out our new location. It filled our hearts with so much joy to also have so many of our South Tampa friends also come out and show their support! We are excited!
