Default WANTED! Custom intercooler and/or pipes

Title says it all. Wondering if anyone around here does custom intercooler setups, and how much I could look to spend. I'm not so hard-pressed for a FMIC core, but the piping for my stock SMIC is a definite priority. Intercooler (air-air) would be roughly 24x6x3.5. Could be a bit larger, but I'd prefer to not cut into the bumber or anything. Can anyone help me out?

Is this for your Protege?

And by custom intercooler set-up are you referring to something modified to fit your vehicle or finding a pre-made application that fits your vehicle?

Piping isn't very difficult to make work, you have a few options which include ordering a couple sets of piping and making them work and/or welding/bending piping to work with your configuration.

Yes. It would be for my Protege. I'm actually curious if its any cheaper to simply buy a universal core and modify it, versus buying a pre-made kit. I have found plenty of pre-made kits, but not looking to spend that much. I'd actually to keep it under a couple hundreds bucks. Like I said though, I'm more concerned about the piping. If its not much more expensive to get a core also, I'd consider that so I could mate the pipes up with the fmic. Any ballpark idea what it could run me just for the piping?
