its likely wouldnt hold the power at all. iirc its for a 3sge. if you dont want a v160, you could go with a t56 behind your 2j. they make bh for it

v160 usually goes for ~$3k+ and you need a 3.20 or lower rear end. you can get a lt1 t56 for less then $1k. ive seen them as cheap as $500 with bh and shifter. and any rear from 3.73-4.30 would be fine.
