So i give this kid a call to go by and look at the exhaust, he give me one address which is his "SHOP" then the next day when i ask him where he wants to meet up he tells me that the exhaust is at his house and give me his address. The exhaust is a apexi N1 for a sc300 btw. He comes out side barefooted and in shorts you will see why this is important. I get there he shows us it in his garage theres a cbr1000rr i ask him who's it was he tells me its his brothers, me and my friend look at the parts and everything seemed ok we pay him and dip back to Tampa to get to muffler city to get a estimate to get a dp made. The guy looks at it and we find a hole in the back of the can and one where the squarish cat i believe you will see it in the pics i give him a call tell him whats going on and not putting the blame on him know and he tells me hes going to give me a full refund on my money. Here's where the bs starts to happen he texts me and tell me to meet him in a hour to his friends shop so he can try to weld it and fix it, the shop i was at said it was pointless to weld it because it will only fix it temporary. I start to go on my way back to st pete. and i call him to see where hes at and hes not answering.....blah blah blah i text him and he tells me o im at a bday party like that my problem then he bust out with i tell him ill drop it off at his house and come to him and here's what this POS tells me

1.I don't live there which is bs....
2.Bro i never sold anything broken to anyone i dont believe you
3.Im with my girls family

So now out money thank to this jerk off, Stops texting me and answering my calls like a pussy. Here's the pics i really tried being nice and told him to do the right thing and just give me my money i dont think 190$ is worth drama but i guess it is to him.

 

This is the kid who wasted my time meeting him all the way out in causeway for no reason to waste my time and gas after i have already given him a deal on a GTE head i was selling. Then he tried to get me to leave the head at some place in cleawater to leave it with a friend he knows without leaving me any collateral, lord knows what they could have done with it.....i can go on and on but will leave it at this.

kinda bs I agree, but you are also partially to blame in this for not inspecting it good enough, it's a private sale, it's not like it's walmart you shouldn't have bought it if it was all beat to shit. I've been screwed over many many many time on thing exactly like this but I just accept the fact that I screwed up and eat it. No I'm not defending this guy, I've never met him, sounds shady, and he shouldn't have promised you a refund if that's not what he was gonna do.

That's what i told them but either way the kid is still a lieing SOB scum bag and is lucky he is not on SF or if he is and i found out i will put him out on the spot. Still really pissed i drove an hour out there for his BS, went home empty handed and tired but at least it payed off and ended up making ALOT more off my head then what i had it for.

 

Two wrongs:

1) The buyer visually saw the part, paid for it, left, then wanted his money back. A deal is a deal.
2) The seller agreed a refund and now doesn't want to give one. He never should have offered one if he hadn't intended on doing so.

The blame is 50/50. IMHO. End of story.
