22r Ideas And Pointers
SO I GOT A 1986 TOYOTA PICKUP WITH A 22R AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT MODS I SHOULD DO TO IT ???? BUT I DONT WANT ANY WILD ENGNE SWAPS ........ITS ONE OF THE MOST FUN TRUCKS IVE DRIVEN AND IT WILL DO ANYTHING AND WILL GO ANYWERE U TELL IT TO OR GO TO .......YEAH ITS A BIT OF A RARE CAR TO MODIFY BUT I WANT TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN THE REGULAR AND WITH THE RIGHT THINGS DONE TO IT IT WILL GO REALLY FAST BELIVE ME !

carb? 20r head with a cam and a header.. you'll be good
weak point of the 22r is the chain guides.. they break and the chain eats in to the coolant passage.. other then that they run forever!!

like the first person said turbo it. you can turbo a carbed motor do some research on it. and you can be a bit past the 250hp mark.
