Once a certain number of people sign onto (like) a facebook account
there is no longer a need for a website.

I've seen this in "local events".
Someone posts an event notice and never bothers to come back
to answer questions, post pictures, post car show winners, post number
of attendees, post raffle winners, or anything else,
until it's time to mention their annual event again.

Once they have enough "likes" from their events, or enough likes due to entrant
registrations, they quit posting in TR local events.
They don't need TR. I can find some examples in the local events thread if needed.

This is a little like the game rock-paper-scissors-nuclear weapon. LOL
