As Tampa Racing.com continues to increase the number of people signing on as members
and is now over 102,000+, and hundreds of people read the forums of Tampa Racing.com every night,
I will look into what you cite for my own curiosity.

IB has about 160 car websites, it's my understanding.
There should be plenty more dead websites if IB is the "destroyer of websites". (sounds like a character from a video game)

Of course, some people from some other local website have called "me" the destroyer of Tampa Racing.com LOL and suggested that Tampa Racing.com would thrive if I stopped posting.

Since I don't accept advice from people who want to see failure, I kept posting
on Tampa Racing.com anyway. LOL

Considering how many people want to join Tampa Racing.com compared to some other site,
the buttheads from some other site should maybe cease to post on their own site, so we will be able to see some hyper growth from whatever that other site is......if they thought their own advice was any good.

Evidence of a dieing website?
As of May 4 2015, Since 21 August 2014 to May 4 2015, 537 people have joined Tampa Racing .
That's 57 car people joining Tampa Racing.com from April 2 2015 to May 4 2015.
57 new people JOINING Tampa Racing.com is more than half the number of people that have ever been on some other local car website, ever.
I thank you for your support in joining Tampa Racing.com , Fastest growing of any other car website around Tampa, and very likely in the State of Florida. -Bob

Gosh, if you and I would log on at the same time, there would be two of us registered
members on Tampa Racing.com. LOL

Tampa Racing.com is an open website and membership is not a requirement to enjoy
reading the many informative forums. Posting is not a requirement, even for people
who actually joined Tampa Racing.com . That can be compared to some other website
where you must join the site in order to read anything, but I'm not going over to some
other site and telling them how they should run things.

Sometime back one of those buttheads from another site acknowledged that Tampa Racing.com
not only was ahead of their site in every category but one, but the butthead also acknowledged
that Tampa racing.com led the buttheads site in number of bots who were also reading and enjoying
the forums of Tampa Racing.com . LOL

There have been times when more streetbots from some other site were reading
Tampa Racing.com than the number of people reading their own site. LOL

OG here. I only came on here because of a notification in another thread. Didn't think this site was still up. So I started browsing and it brought back memories. Then I saw this thread on the home page.

IMO, the Tampa car scene died due to new street racing laws and the young kids who were into the imports got older, a better paying job, and moved on to a higher quality car. Very few of them had children who they could pass on the "import" thing too. I don't know, the later is probably wrong but I don't know what else it could be. I rarely see any quick hondas on the road. I used to hear BOV's at least once a day. I haven't heard one in probably over 6 months. Hate to say it but the import thing was a fad. The FnF movie newness wore off after FnF 3ish. lol.

For me I still have the car in my sig. I still drive it around town and race it down in Bradenton. I'll be into cars (mainly drag racing) until I am too old to drive. This site was the bees knees back in the day. Oh well, life goes on I guess.
