Do you want these forums to look different, improved, better title pics etc?

I don't want to change any design(if I'm accepted) if the people don't want it to change.

Cars: 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatchback (Bought from DRMORTY)

Any specific car knowledge: I work at a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Dealership and have basic knowledge of cars and taking tests and training to improve my knowledge and skills.

Forums you would like to moderate: Mainly would like to redesign or update the design on the forums...add in a mobile forum for people with web browsers on there phones and so on.
Any experience at moderating: Once owned www.demonicgaming.net
But money was tight and decided to just close it.
Moderated a few forums for decent sized clans for various consoles and games but eventually left cause of corrupt staff.

What do you think the main job of a moderator is: Not let topics get too out of hand and keeping everything clean...Deleting trash and spam and redirecting misplaced topics. And try and keep disrespectful people at a minimum.

Why should you become a moderator? Would like to do design work and possibly get the Mobile Forum idea I had before working. And to help improve TR.

List users who do not like you: None...................Yet?

sounds good... but just a heads up, they have to disable to search function to allow the site to function properly, how are you going to add design features without sacrificing performance?
and just cuz I'm curious, how are you going to set up the mobile forum? Don't get me wrong, I love the idea. I've wanted a mobile version since I joined with my old screen name... I'm just curious as to what you're plans are...

 

The mobile set up is just another template. and the site has to enable the users to change templates. but have only the default and mobile ones selectable.

and my plans would be to possibly change the current template but only if thats what the members want

 

what experience in vbulletin design do you have?.. got any templates/skins/mods you've designed ?

 

I havent done vbulletin work for quite awhile. and I never designed anything myself personally. When I used to do vbulletin work for other sites we had teams with each person doing 1 thing or the other.

I'm decent with photoshop and know where things should go like to change certain buttons etc. But since I have been "on the bench" on working on vbulletin boards lately I would need some refreshing.

I'll prolly get a demo from vbulletin and try and custom a template to see if I still got it.
