Although the "general" type DIY section that you are speaking of does sound good and i will give it the +123456789.

i have been thinking this aswell, yet i think it would work out well if every tech forum had a DIY sect. It would help by categorizing each vehicle make into a particular forum for an easier referencing experience.
As opposed to weeding through the inqiuries hoping to find something after using the search function thus, creating alot of work for some inexperienced members.
