I want Tein Type RA for 2001 2.5RS, where and how much?

Just like the title says. we just put new tires on it, Yoko AVS ES100, 215/45/17... and we want coil overs, i like Tein... Type RA is bad ass...

so now the question is, where can i find them for less than $1600??? :D

you won't find ra's for less than $1600 i have them on my 03 wrx and expect to pay $2000+ for them but they are definately worth it

Check out Vivid Racing's site, Rallispec or the GRUPPE-S website's, also fastwrx.com . I Have no clue as to pricing.

Also look into the JIC or DMS gold coilovers, nice products! equal or better than the Tein's

i saw some LEDA and type RA's for ~$1600...

my friend who has an Evo8 turned me onto Gruppe-S, just still trying to find a goood price before finally breaking down and spending that much loot.

i went to gruppe-s web site and i was surprised to see some decent prices
they need more of a selection though for subarus
more turbos please

You should definitely expect to pay around $2k for RAs. If you can find someone who will sell them for $1600, you've found someone Tein does not know about. They monitor their dealers and pricing pretty actively. You might find someone who has grey marketed JDM pieces into the US for that price, but expect no warranties if you pick them up from these guys. I know someone who could get you a set in the low $2k bracket, if you can't find a better deal. :)

yah...i paid a pretty hefty price for my gab stroke 2 revolutions coilovers...and they're better cuz they have a longer name. haha...nah....coilovers in this range are uber badass. solid steel pillow mounts, camber plates, adjustable spring heaight, damper, recoil, and you can easily swap out springs....not that this has ANYTHING TO DO TO HELP YOU OUT....lol

but aye, check for used ones and then get them rebuilt...if there are used ones available. there are quite a few DMS setups for sale on www.nasioc.com in the private for sale forum
