I have front struts with lowering springs already on them for WRX if you want them. Fronts only though. I would let them go for pretty cheap.

Ive got Cobb Tuning springs on my GC8. It hooks great from a dig and is reasonably stiff.

had cobb springs on my first suby, prodrives on my second. liked them both, probably the prodrives a little more. both are a subtle drop, not slammed by any means. neither are super-harsh springrates either. Unless you are taking the car to a track then it's not really worth the harsh ride to go with coilovers (somewhere in the range of a grand) when you can get springs for $200-$300

i have the eibach prokit on stock struts for over 40,000 miles with no issues.

the ride quality is amazing. the only downside is these are mostly for looks and you wont notice any increase in handling or anything

I need to get updated photos, but I have the JDM STi "Pink" springs. Very similar drop to the car above me, but a much higher spring rate than Eibach and Tien, seeing as they came off the JDM WRX STi Spec-C. About -1.5" in the front, -1.0" in the rear. Spring rate is, from what I have found, 285 lbs in the front, 218 lbs in the rear..... compared to H-Techs or Prokits which have >218 in the front, and >180 in the rear. If you want lower and keep ride quality, H-Techs or Pro-kits are the way to go, but if you are looking at handling performance for auto-X without breaking the bank, STi Pinks are the best. Match with Tokico's or KYB AGX struts and you will ride on rails for sure.
