so far know one is using a ebay wastegate......and almost everyone in this thread has or had a tial ewg on their setup lol.

I would use an ebay part if I had to or got it for a good price on anything EXCEPT the wastegate. Thats the one part that can take your whole setup out in seconds if it fails without boost cut. Even if an ebay turbo completely blew apart, its still not nearly as bad as that crappy chinese wastegate sending your car north of 30psi before it throws a rod.

^+1 to this. i say tial. i had this same dispute but i decided not to trust boost with that garbage. i just saved up longer and got the grimmspeed uppipe with tial ewg from import image racing for $500 and was set. tial ftw

 

What turbo setup are running and which psi spring on the tial?

 

^ if your talking to me I'm running a blouch evo III big 16g with a 1 bar spring in my tial 38mm mvs vband ewg. I'm running a mbc to boost to 20psi. I love this setup I made 330whp/311wtq
