Hey i just got my sti shortblock and getting ready to order all my stuff today as far as turbo ect. Im doing a 20g turbo should i go with a biger topmount or frontmount?

 

ur in the subaru for sale thread lol. it's really up to you. i would do top mount + meth but heatsoak still sucks. i kinda wish i would've went front mount but it was kind a of hassle because i didn't want to cut my front bumper and stuff and since i have meth heatsoak isn't that big of an issue as long as u minimize it by turbo wrap downpipe wrap heat shield etc.

 

Fmic.Cutting the bumper its not hard at all.If u have a air cutter a dremmel,Shit I cut mine witha box cutter.

 

Florida car IMO needs a front mount.

Anything bigger than a 20G, I'd go FMIC. My MRT top mount heat soaks sittin' in traffic during the summer.

 

well i went with the top mount...
Import image hooked it up with my huge order and i saved alot of money goin with the top mount so i got a blouch turbo insted of a slow boy!
Maybe down the road i will upgrade to the front mount see how bad the heat soak is.
Im going to wrap my downpipe and whatnot too.
