thinking of trading my car in for a first gen
as title says, ive always really wanted a first gen 22b impreza, what are some key things i should look for as far as things being wrong with the car itself when i go shopping? considering i cant find one within a 100 miles thats under 100xxx miles

I think I speak for everyone when I say that if you get a 22b impreza, I'm going to violently kill you and wear your spleen as a hat.
Or I might just ask you to be my friend and take me for rides all the time. |
I think he means GC.

ej22 = the goods.

yes they are fairly easy to come by.... however just because its an ej22 doesnt mean its the same block as the 22b sti. there are people who buy old 2.5rs blocks and think they are the same as a new sti block.

your best bet is to take someone who knows about Subies with you. LD will probably say to take it to S&R and have them check it :lol:

IM me or PM me sir and I can help ya.
Just so you know, dont go around asking for a 22b, you will be looked at like an idiot. lol you are looking for a 99-01 Impreza 2.5RS (if you are looking for a 22b/Sti like look). Stay away from L's, the conversion process on looks alone is not worth the hastle and money IMHO. - Mike |
^^ :lol: rep earned.
and btw, the reason i approve of the ej22 is its closed deck design which equates to being able to handle more boost. especially once built. |
