Nitrous!
heheheee... some of you know, but yeah i got the nitrous hooked up, tank filled, and went for 5 runs, 3 with Jameel from Brother's, and then another 2 runs on the way home, still have to tweak with the rpm switch to get it just right, but it pulls very nicely and you can definately tell when it kicks in, you just get sucked into the seat.
its a 30 wet shot that comes on at 3200rpm and shuts off at 5800rpm. I'm going to change that, I'm thinking i'm going to start with it coming on at 2800rpm and shut off at 5900
It was set at 3200-6000 for the first three runs, but i bounced it off the rev limiter, so i had Jap at Brother's turn it down to 5800, and now i'm finding that there's a bit too much of a pause between shifts where it is not spraying

yeah seriously.... on my s10 i couldnt feel a thing below 100shot....
and another tip, i wouldnt put the rpm switch too close to the shift point because thats how i killed my tranny.. the tranny doesnt know what to do with that extra power when it reaches the shift and then boom bang bang...
g/l man and feed the damn car more NOS!!!! and retard the timing properly.

more nitrous = more broken parts...I had a friend who ran a 30-35 shot on his wrx and was told it was the perfect amount for the wrx alum. block to handle. Then once he bumped it up he ended up throwing a rod or something like that and needed a new block. I don't know about what the legacy's can handle, but just be carefull.

exactly, and my engine is the weakest of the EJ series motors built by subaru.
I plan to increase the shot to 50-65 once i get my new motor in hand and run it till it dies, but I will run it at the track with atleast a 100shot hopefully more than once, ofcourse once my new motor is in.
I can't do anything crazy until I have the new motor, because i'm a broke college student, and i figure that when I graduate (2 semesters! Woot!!) I owe myself a little gift, like 10K more in debt towards my car to make it into my dream car. Student loans have better rates than i could ever hope to negotiate through a bank to finance a new(er) car, and I plan to go to graduate school to get my doctorate, and since i have government subsidized loans my loan payments will be deferred until 6 months after I graduate from grad school, which will be another 4-5 years from now... giving me ample time to start paying off the loans without any interest being taken against me, and still be cheaper than buying a new car and wind up with a car that is already superior to the new car, because the old car had all the stock stuff replaced with superior aftermarket parts.
gotta go to work now to make that money, I'm almost 1/2 way to being able to afford the new motor (3,000 for JDM FXT@ Gruppe-s.com)
thanks for the advice and encouragement/teasing, I take it all in stride and just keep smiling because my engine is still running at 165,000 miles with a 30 shot
i'm about as fast as a stock 02-03 wrx now, if i hadn't been talked out of buying the headers, I would be faster, but thats another 300+ towards the new motor
