They weren't going to keep the 3 hole grill for longer than 2 years anyway. Look at the history: 2002-03 Bugeyes, 04-05 Hyandai look, 06-07 3 hole grill, and now 08-09 will get this Mazda look.
I like the 06 look, but the bugeye was still the best.
