I was going to do this a while back and did some research on Nasioc.com and found that the kits are crap.
They either dont work or just melt your oem headlight casing. I also found that anythign over 4800K looks horrible.
Just find a set of STi lights!

OEM HID's like mine and pretty much all others are around 4300K which is the closest to natural sunlight. Once you start getting beyond 6000k and above the light is more purple, less useable, and harder on your eyes. 6000k bulbs are about the highest I'd ever go.
thats not true. Just stay away from McCollough, their ballasts arent any good. Philips is best and will run you about $350. I would not go above 6000K like someone suggested. But personally the Philips 4300K is the best thing out. Would these be going in reflectors or projectors?
I bought a set off ebay about 2 weeks ago for a total of 230 shipped. I have 12000ks now but i also had a set of 8000ks before that burnt out. The kit off ebay is much nicer and much more durbale looking than my set i didnt buy off ebay.

projectors. so i heard Philips are the best and wont burnout the oem casing? i was looking for more of the 6000K but if 4300K will be bright enough (like BMW's)i think thats good enough
