i am going to do this setup on my 04 sti deadbolt 20g meth kit nismo 740 injectors probably changing my intake to injen cai the turbo xs topmount with my current stage 2 protune setup hks exhaust k&n typhoon cobb helix cat dp
and a s203 front lip and sti pinks should top all that off time to work and get some money and compliments of scott siegal who is going to tune my car hopefully

I would go with a front mount with any turbo upgrade, but thats just me.

 

yea my reasoning behind it is i won't need it as much cuz of meth injection and also cutting front bumper rocks scraping it people say heat soak but i plan on wrapping turbo and downpipe is wrapped and there might be other things i can do to minimize the heat soak thanks for input!

 

Cutting the front bumper for a front mount isnt that hard. Wrapping everything is good but i would think most heat soak on a top mount intercooler comes from the motor(im a Suby noob so you probley shouldnt listen to me). But do what you want and have fun with it because thats all that matters.

 

you can always put ice packs ontop... just play it stealth mode. ... so u gonna callout kriz sti after this is done...? sounds like a good setup. good luck.

so hows ur evo running last time i saw something was wrong with it and i think u pumped up ur boost a bit so how fast are u in the 1/4 now? i know evos are very tuner friendly more than stis

 

yea when u saw it, i popped both bbs wheels. fuked it up.. but yea. when u saw it, it was on 21psi. no 1/4 time yet. ;/.
