anyone know anyone in the parking ticket biz?

i got a hundred dollar parking ticket just now. The cop who issued it was sitting there waiting for the tow truck which arrived as I was walking to my car....and it wasn't a flat bed.

so...back to the parking ticket...anyone know anyone or have any tricks to maybe rid of this?

would u be allowed to sue(sp) the tow truck company if they fuct ur car up? i always wondered about that

yeah you could, the city would pay for a new tranny for you.

And its hard to get rid of a parking ticket unless i was issued wrongly

i got a parking ticket the other day i plan on just paying it but question what did you get a 100 one for mine was only 25.

but it does suck especially if you dont notice the really small sign that is like lightyears away from where i parked but for me its just easier to pay then attempt to fight.

So did they tow it or not?

smooth_ej20 06-27-2006 06:08 PM

im not sure you can even fight parking tickets. I know it sucks but just pay it...you'll never win

DJC 06-27-2006 06:28 PM

No, they didn't tow it. I jumped in the car two seconds(literally) before the tow truck could position itself for towing. I got EXTREMELY lucky. I'm not going to fight the ticket, I just wondered if anyone knew someone working in the office that could clear it. Back home(key west), you could usually get away with something like this. I'll go pay the ticket on Friday when I get paid (damnit.)

But yeah, disaster avoided--especially when i'm trying to sell the car. The next thing I need is a destroyed center diff and all he headaches involved.
