How harmful is it to run 87 if i stay under 3k??
 

Say if I were going on a long trip and I was in cruise control for like 4hrs at 3krpms, how harmful would it be to run 87 or 89??

as long as it doesnt ping it should harm anything.

Stay out of the boost and you should be fine. Don't make a habit of it though.

its not worth it to save .20 a gallon. savings of a little over $2 for a full tank. just put the good stuff in
