Default Gas Gauge Problem

So today my low fuel light came on so I went to fill up the tank, and it only took a little more than 10 gallons. I thought that was a little odd, but it didnt bug me too much. But then when I got back into the car the gas gauge was in the same place as when I had stopped. After I drove a little it slowly made its way back up, but seems to have stopped about halfway between 3/4 and a full tank. I dont think this is normal, so Im going to have Mastro check it out, but has anyone else had this problem? Especially on an '05? This is only my thrid time filling up the car and the past two times I havent had the problem. Its gone all the way up to just past the full mark.

Any ideas??

Did u just fill it until it clicked? Cause usually you can more fuel in when it does that. It takes it a couple minutes for the needle to all the way back up to full too.

Nope I moved it around and it took a little more, but not much. Less than a gallon. Its not too pressing now that I know the gauge is supposed to reset like that, and its working well enough that I wont run out of gas. But Ill still have it checked out. Im too finicky to have a gauge that only goes up to 3/4.

The last two times it did this. Later on, it moved up to the Full mark.

Ok so its not just me. Has anyone actually had it checked out yet? Did Mastro have a fix for it?

I would definitely have it looked at. It doesn't sound like a serious problem, but i have never experienced this with my 02 WRB.
Oh, and you are NOT supposed to add more fuel (after the pump clicks) on new cars. I believe it says it on the cap and on the nozzle nowadays. I tried to top off, just by a few cents, when i first got my car and gas came fuggin pouring out. Maybe your fuel level sensor has been improperly placed or something.
