STi owners with TBE (boost creep)
I'm a but worried out about boost creep on the STi with a turbo back exhaust. I'm curious what experience you guys have had with the STi + TBE resulting in boost creep in our climate. I have run into a few folks down here that had the problem and few that haven't. I'm guessing the folks that don't have the problem don't visit 100mph+ WOT 5th/6th gear and/or don't have boost gauge plus it was summer. I've also heard that some people solves the problem with a fancy electronic boost controller. Have any of the 2.0 liter folks had this problem with VF turbos?
Also, has anyone had the wastegate ported local? I really don't have the time anymore to pull the turbo and do it myself or send it off to deadbolt with the downtime of the car. I've PMed Secret Services but I'm guessing it's going to cost a pretty penny unless I remove and reinstall the turbo myself. I really don't want the new car to turn into a money pit like the WRX did.

My boost has crept all the way up to 20+psi in the cold weather, but didn't notice anything during the Summer. I think the increased manifold pressure is partially due to highe rair density due to the colder air charge, but internal wastegate turbos, especially the VFs, are known to creep.
