Boots hold fluid in, but they are not the seals. Might want to get a new rack if its leaking fluid, or replace the seals and take the rack apart, whatevs

The boots are done, like broken in 2 pieces. Just hanging on the tie rod. Gonna replace oil pan gasket and boots next week.

im pretty sure sand and shit gets in the rack and eats the seals up, due to no boots.

they make an sr ps rebuild kit?? im gona tear it down today after i go to the flea market with my roomate but ill let you know the verdict!!

Yea. I dont think its leaking now that i think about that. Everytime i check my ps fluid, its always full. Maybe it was just oil from the oil pan leaking. Also have rear main seal leak too. Little drops though.
