I am trying to sell my 1987 honda rebel. It has approx 9k miles on it and has been garage kept by me and the original owner. It ran great the last time I had it running, a month or 2 ago, the rear tire tread looks a little low but still has some miles on it, and the battery either needs a rejuve on it ( which I may do If I can get the time) or a new one for $60 the last I looked. other than that it's in great shape. I had pics but can't find them on the computer right now, I will post asap. the bike is black and chrome, with leather saddle bags and front tool pouch. It looks like the little brother to a Honda shadow.

you can buy a 2002 rebel for 1500 unless it has more than 250cc

 

with how many miles?? on the 2002? I have also looked in the paper and most anything in good condition is $1500+ anything less than that and your sacrificing the condition of the bike. for $1000 I'd expect dents, sun spots, heavy rust, and a cracked tail light. for the condition that mine is in $1800 is very reasonable.
